How to get your diabetic shoes through your insurance:

The process for getting shoes is very simple.  First our diabetic shoe fitter will take a measurement of both feet for a personalized fit.  Then you pick out the shoes you would like.  After we place you order, your shoes will arrive in 3-4 business days.

Most shoes come with 1 to 2 insoles already in the shoes.  Plastazote insoles (moldable insoles) can be requested.  These insoles are heated and molded to each foot to assure a custom fit.  If you are Medicare approved for the shoes, Medicare will also pay for 3 pairs of the molded insoles.

These shoes were designed by a team of podiatrists and pedorthists to provide extreme comfort and protection of the foot.

Advantages of Diabetic Shoes:

  • Hidden-depth rocker soles
  • Removable conform orthotics
  • High toe boxes
  • Seamless spandex uppers

Advantages of  Moldable Insoles:

  • Limits stress to the most susceptible areas of the foot, which in turn relieves tension in the lower back
  • Provides a more custom fit

These shoes are recommended for diabetics, people with arthritis or for anyone seeking comfort and extra support.

If you are not diabetic, do not have Medicare, or your doctor does not approve you for these shoes, the price ranges from $115-$145 a pair.  Our moldable insoles cost $50.00 per pair.  However, we often run specials on our insoles and shoes. Please call us for our current specials.
